A Quiet Place Day One: Release Date Pushed Back to 2024

John Krasinski's Horror Franchise Gets a Delay

Mark Your Calendars for June 28, 2024

Paramount Pictures has announced a release date shift for the highly anticipated prequel to the "A Quiet Place" franchise. "A Quiet Place Day One" was initially scheduled to hit theaters in 2025, but has now been moved up to June 28, 2024.

The third installment in the series, "A Quiet Place Part III," was originally set to release in 2025 as well. However, with the release of "Day One" being moved to 2024, the release date for "Part III" is now uncertain.

The prequel, written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, will explore the origins of the alien invasion depicted in the first two films. Joseph Quinn, Lupita Nyong'o, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou star in the upcoming film.

While this delay may come as a disappointment to eager fans, it also suggests that Paramount Pictures is confident in the quality of "A Quiet Place Day One." The studio is likely allowing additional time for post-production and marketing to ensure that the film meets the high expectations set by its predecessors.
